Begin your scenic train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella (approximate duration: 3-4 hours).

Sri Lanka's train routes are among the most beautiful in the world. The ride through the hill country takes you past mist-covered tea estates, lush forests, and breathtaking landscapes, making this one of the most iconic journeys in the country.

Upon arrival at Ella Railway Station, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel (approximate drive duration: 10-30 minutes).

En route, make a short stop to enjoy Ravana Ella Waterfall (activity duration: 10-20 minutes).

Ravana Falls, one of Sri Lanka's widest waterfalls at 82 feet, lies near Ella within the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary. Named after King Ravana, it offers scenic views, swimming opportunities, and is best visited during the wet season.
